- Getting There = The Lava Tunnel is less than 30 minutes from Reykjavik: Head east on road 1, turn onto road 39 after approximately 18km. You will find The Lava Tunnel parking lot after approximately 12km. * Minimum age: 3 years * This experience is suitable for most able-bodied people but is not recommended if you have difficulty climbing stairs or walking or if you suffer from severe claustrophobia * The meeting point is on Road 39, Þrengslavegur, not far from the Tsection where you go on to Road 38. It is in the area called Ölfus 816 * Make sure you're at the meeting point at the designated time. * Show your smartphone ticket to the tour guide * Please wear sturdy shoes, a waterproof jacket, and warm clothing - temperatures inside the Lava Tunnel are around 0-4°C * The maximum group size is 25 persons. Bigger groups will be divided
