- * Children under 18 need written parental permission to ride alone and must be accompanied A helmet, a warm overall or raincoat, rain pants, and rubber boots can be borrowed at the stables free of charge. * Minimum age is 8 years, maximum weight 110kg/240lbs * Tour suitable for all levels * Important: If you book transport, pick-up at Reykjavik City Hall will be 1 hour before the start of your ride If you booked the horseback riding including transport: * The starting time you booked is the starting time of your horseback ride * Pickup is 1 hour before your chosen timeslot * Pickup location: Bus stop #1 at Reykjavík City Hall * Make sure to be on time! If you travel to the stables by yourself: * Show your smartphone ticket to the Ishestar staff * Make sure you arrive at the stables 30 minutes before the start of your ride. The drive from Reykjavík city center to the stables is about 20 minutes * GPS coordinates of Íshestar stable: Lat. 64.043289 / Long. -21.914219 * Before the ride, groups will be organized according to their riding ability to ensure everyone gets the experience they want. The slow group will mostly walk and the faster group will ride at a faster pace * You may not ride with backpacks/bags. Safety boxes are available at the stables free or charge * Bring warm gloves and a thin hat that can fit under the riding helmet * If you wish to bring your own riding gear, make sure you know the restrictions of bringing used gear into Iceland
