Description
During the guided tour, visitors will see how the Basilica evolved from early Christian times to the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The tour also includes a visit to the Grottoes, where many Popes, including Saint Peter, are buried. If selected, you can even climb the golden dome of the Basilica for sweeping views of Vatican City below.
